What is a detox diet?
A detox diet is where you eliminate certain food groups for a period of time. Detoxification means the elimination of toxins from the body. The detox diet put simply means that you’re removing toxins from your bloodstream, kidneys, liver and intestines by means of following a strict form of diet plan.
You are a chemistry set, what you put into the body causes positive or negative reaction.
You come to our practice and you are saying they you feel unhappy about life, you have no energy, no drive and feel lethargic all the time. On top of all this you then say how you feel fat and bloated. How you feel depends on what type of fuel you have put in your engine, you know what it’s like, you have a huge bowl of pasta and afterwards you feel bloated and lacking in energy or you have that big plate of chips and you feel the grease inside your mouth. Take the classic Sunday lunch followed by the afternoon nap… eating can be so exhausting!
So what do we do, how can you feel better within yourself? So If we said you can never have that food type again it could feel like a punishment and cause your cravings to rage, all you need to know is how much better you would feel when these foods are not in your system, capture and experience these feelings and you will be truly amazed how easy it is not to want to eat the stuff that makes you feel bad!
